For this series of converation classes we will be discussing the first few pages of famous novels.
We will read them together, go through unfamiliar vocabularly, and then talk about them. The focus, as always, is on encouraging discussion...what do you think? What would make you want to continue reading this book? Or what reasons do you have for not liking the sound of it?

My name is Sharon and I'm from England (London and Brighton).
I've been coaching English in Berlin since May 2007. We talk about various issues including current affairs and literature in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The emphasis is on building vocabulary and improving pronunciation, although we do also have grammar training whenever necessary.
Meetings are arranged at mutually convenient times. Prices depend on time of day, duration of session and whether you wish to meet as an individual or part of a group.
